Polish Research Network called Laboratory of Physical Foundations of Information Processing was created in 2002 by the State Committee for Scientific Research. The network consists of eighteen Polish universities and research institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences. In the field of physics of information processing and foundations of modern quantum mechanics, Poland has a very significant potential. Our network is currently engaged in fundamental research in the following areas:
